Now Syfy is joining the fray with 12 Monkeys, a new science-fiction drama debuting in January, which is based on the 1995 film with Bruce Willis, Madeline Stowe and Brad Pitt.

Airline passengers will be able to watch 3D movies in the sky on board a new fleet of Airbus jets within three years, reports Variety.

The revamped A330 Neo will boast an in-flight system featuring stereoscopic capability for the first time. The first planes are expected to be delivered to airlines in 2017.

Director Takashi Miike’s 1999 horror flick “Audition” was chosen as the scariest movie of the ’90s by U.K.-based Total Film magazine.

The film, which opened in Japan in March 2000, is based on a short story by Ryu Murakami about a widower who arranges fake TV auditions to meet a girl. In an article reviewing Mr. Miike’s works, Steve Dollar wrote in The Wall Street Journal in March 2011 that the movie “turns to a game of psychotic cat-and-mouse” featuring “scenes of horror that revulsed some moviegoers and thrilled others.”
