Liverpool FC transfer gossip: Remy buy-out twist; Reds Reus move; Fresh Moreno bid

Possible Liverpool FC target Loic Remy may stay at Queens Park Rangers , say the Daily Mirror .

The French forward, who spent last season on loan at Newcastle, has long been said to have an £8.5 million release clause in his contract but it now appears that may only be the case for top four teams. Teams in the top six would reportedly have to pay £11m and any other interested parties will be asked to shell out £15m.

Although the Reds would be in the £8.5m bracket, they have yet to follow up on a formal enquiry.

Marco Reus could be in Liverpool's sights after a move to Barcelona fell through, reports the Daily Express .

They claim that the Dortmund star was set to join Barca before new boss Luis Enrique decided to concentrate on bringing in Luis Suarez instead.

Now the Reds may be set launch a £44m move for the German international as they look to replace the outgoing Suarez.

Liverpool may also be set to use Sevilla's loan deal for Iago Aspas as a platform to re-open talks for left-back Alberto Moreno, say Soccerlens .

The Spaniard is a long term target for the Reds, who had an initial offer turned down earlier in the window and they may be prepared to up their bid to a figure closer to his buyout clause.
