Scarlett Johansson fans take heart! A script for a Black Widow movie exists

Director, writer and voice actor David Hayter has revealed that he has penned a script for a Black Widow movie.

Hayter, best know for voicing Snake in Metal Gear Solid, told Latino Review that he is planning on approaching Marvel about the film again in the future.

He said: ‘For Black Widow I wrote [a script] ten years ago and I was attached to direct it then. Then a few female action movies came out and they didn’t do very well. And the movie got shelved. It’s on IMDB and I’m going to talk to Marvel about possibly re-igniting that project.

 Marvel cinematic universe movies up until 2019 have now been dated...

Hardly surprising this, but Disney has confirmed dates that map out when we can expect Marvel movies through to the middle of 2019.

Marvel Studios Dates Five Untitled Movies Through 2019

Let the guessing game begin: Disney has planted the flag on release dates for five untitled Marvel movies staring with July 27, 2017 and running through May 3, 2019.

The other dates are Nov. 3, 2017, July 6, 2018 and Nov. 2, 2018.

The studio made the announcement Friday afternoon, as part of an early move to lock down prime summer and fall berths for Marvel’s movies.
