‘Gone Girl’ Wins Big at Hollywood Awards

The mystery-thriller “Gone Girl” took home the top prize at the 2014 Hollywood Film Awards on Friday night in Los Angeles. But while an array of Hollywood A-listers, including Angelina Jolie, Ben Affleck and Johnny Depp, showed up for the event’s first televised ceremony, audiences at home did not. The program, which was hosted by Queen Latifah and carried by CBS, attracted about four million viewers at its peak, according to the websiteTVbythenumbers.com.
