Motorcyclist Killed in North Hollywood Hit-and-Run

The intersection of Magnolia Boulevard and Lankershim Boulevard is closed for investigation until further notice.

A driver and passenger involved in a hit-and-run crash in North Hollywood have been arrested after fleeing the scene of a crash that killed a man Saturday morning, authorities said.

A motorcyclist was struck by a red Toyota Camry around 3:15 a.m. at the intersection of Magnolia Boulevard and Lankershim Boulevard, the Los Angeles Police Department said.

Woman and man found shot dead in Hollywood, police say

Two people were found shot dead in the front yard of a Hollywood home early Saturday, police said.

Authorities were dispatched to a call about shots fired at 5:50 a.m., Officer Anthony Gomez said. When officers arrived to a home on the southeast corner of North 25th Avenue and Wilson Street, they discovered a man and woman dead on the lawn.

"No suspect at large is what our investigation has revealed so far," Lt. Derik Alexander said. "It appears to be domestic-related."

Police have roped off parts of a Hollywood neighborhood as they investigate reports of a shooting.

A tarp is covering part of the sidewalk near Wilson Street at North 25th Avenue. Hollywood police have not responded to Local 10 News' requests for information.
