Yahoo recently revived cancelled sitcom Community for a sixth season and now the online service is reportedly interested in saving Enlisted as well.
Enlisted follows three brothers who find themselves all stationed at the same US Army base in Florida as part of a troup of misfits. The sitcom’s cast includes Stults, Chris Lowell, Parker Young, Keith David, and Angelique Cabral.
Deadline reports that talks are underway with 20th Century Fox TV for a second season of the military sitcom. The new episodes would be made available via Yahoo’s streaming service, Yahoo Screen.
Sources caution that the conversations are in the very early stages and it’s unclear if anything will come of them.
20th Century Fox TV has experience in reviving cancelled shows for a digital platform, having revived Arrested Development for Netflix.
