Celebs Are Using Fashion to Hold on to Summer

Madonna lobs shirtless pics in celebs' Israel-Gaza opinion campaign

Madonna is the latest celebrity to weigh in on the Israel-Gaza conflict, adding herself to the growing pile of famous people who haven't been doing that very well since the fighting started weeks ago.

The Material Girl posted a shot of herself on Thursday with two shirtless backup dancers, one of whom had a Star of David on his six-pack while the other's abs were emblazed with the star-and-crescent symbol of Islam.

"No Separation! We all bleed the same color! #ceasefire #peaceinthemiddleeast #livingforlove," she captioned the Instagram photo.

Worst Dressed Celebs Of The Week!

Selena Gomez and Amber Rose rarely miss a step, but then these two looks happened!

22-year-old Selena arrived to the premiere of her latest film in a pretty outdated ensem, and considering her style status, we were definitely disappointed.

Even Wiz Khalifa’s wifey felt like the wrong fit for a night out! Though we think it was the crazy distracting hat that’s to blame.

Hashtag headache: Madonna and Javier Bardem among celebs weighing in on Israel-Gaza conflict

Celebrities taking to social media to voice stance on month-long conflict that's killed more than 1,000 people.

The conflict between Israel and Hamas is lighting up the skies over Gaza — but now a new weapon of mass destruction has joined the air war.

The hot air war, that is.

Celebrities are weighing in on the month-old conflict to show their support for the side they believe in — but even in the rare case when celebs understand the complex issue, they tend to trivialize it by pontificating on social media.

King Joffrey Hates Shallow Celebrity Culture

Fans of Game of Thrones know that evil King Joffrey got what he deserved. What is less-known is how uncomfortable actor Jack Gleeson is with our shallow, celebrity-worshipping culture. “Celebrity is revered almost religiously, both the institution and its quickly-growing member base,” he says, and he finds it ironic that some instant celebrities peddle products “whose sell-by dates outlast theirs.”

Orlando Bloom v Justin Bieber: history's most pathetic celebrity scuffle

Orlando Bloom and Justin Bieber engaged in embarrassing fisticuffs earlier this week over Miranda Kerr, but what they're really fighting for is their waning careers

It's the question that has divided the world. Permanently destroyed friendships. Condemned families to generations of icily silent Christmas dinners together. The question, the all-important question, is this: are you Team Orlando Bloom or Team Justin Bieber?

After gossip site TMZ released a grainy, rubbernecking video of Orlando Bloom and Justin Bieber engaging in some minor-level fisticuffs at a restaurant in Ibiza this week, people have been lining up to proudly state their allegiances. On Team Bloom is James Franco, who came out in support of his fellow actor on the US satire show The Colbert Report this week; and Leonardo DiCaprio, who allegedly cheered Bloom on from his table inside the restaurant. And on Team Bieber is ...

Kim Kardashian heads to Ibiza just like the rest of the celebrity world

The reality star will join pretty much the whole showbiz world on the party island - who knows what kind of drama will follow

She might be having the odd body hang up at the moment (and we truly don't understand why) but that's not stopping Kim Kardashian missing any of the celebrity action.

Kanye West's missus has jumped in a jet and flown over to Ibiza to join Zac Efron, Leonardo DiCaprio, Orlando Bloom, Justin Bieber, Lindsay Lohan, (need we go on?)

Keen to keep us all up to date with her every movement, as ever, Kim posted a snap out of her plane window - showing the sprawling coast in all its glory.

While some gutsy celebs have tweeted support for Palestine, others have backed down under harsh online criticism

A flood of celebrities, including Rihanna, Amar’e Stoudemire, John Cusack, Madonna, Mia Farrow, Mario Balotelli, Javier Bardem, Kerry Washington, Rob Schneider and many others have also chimed in, ranging from Malik’s “#FreePalestine” to Schneider’s “the ugly inhuman siege has had its deadliest day.”

And they'll seize any chance to make global connections. One such opportunity: a party that was recently thrown by a German e-tailer at an Irish rock-star's home in the South of France, celebrating a partnership with a French-owned fashion brand that supports African manufacturing.

Fans fire back at celebrities who meddle in the Middle East

Celebrities who are better known for their partying rather than politics are angering fans when they go ''off brand'' and post strong views on social media.

The situation is Gaza is a complex one which even the savviest of diplomats struggle to navigate. However, that didn’t stop One Direction star Zayn Malik from weighing in on the crisis this week. The British-born Muslim of Pakistani descent received death threats after tweeting ''#FreePalestine'' to his 13 million followers.

A week earlier Rihanna wrote the same message to her 36 million fans. She then deleted it and issued an apology, claiming she had accidentally posted the hashtag. She then wrote: ''Let’s pray for peace and a swift end to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict! Is there any hope?''
