Disney announces dates for five new Marvel movies

Marvel cinematic universe movies up until 2019 have now been dated...

Hardly surprising this, but Disney has confirmed dates that map out when we can expect Marvel movies through to the middle of 2019.

The new dates, which don't have movie titles attached to them yet are:

28th July 2017
3rd November 2017
6th July 2018
2nd November 2018
3rd May 2019

That's on top of the confirmed upcoming films that we know of, which are:

1st May 2015: Avengers: Age Of Ultron

17 July 2015: Ant-Man

6 May 2016: Captain America 3

8 July 2016: tbc, but expected to be Doctor Strange

5 May 2017: tbc

Marvel's moving away from the model of two films a summer to one (at least while it sticks to two films a year), with the second film at the end of the year. The exception is 2017, when we'll be getting three Marvel movies.

It's a fair bet that Avengers 3 will snag that July 2018 date, and Thor 3 will take one of the 2017 ones.

Other titles in the mix? A sequel perhaps to Guardians Of The Galaxy and/or Ant-Man, and we might just get that new Hulk film. Let the speculation begin, with some details possibly coming at Comic-Con next week....
