Things are heating up between Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder! After being spotted showing off some hot PDA at Comic-Con, HollywoodLife.com has learned EXCLUSIVELY that the two were holding hands backstage at the Young Hollywood Awards on July 27!
Ian Somerhalder, 35, and Nikki Reed, 26, are Hollywood’s hottest new couple. Rumors swirled that the longtime friends could be more after pictures of them surfaced where they were getting hot and sweaty together while going for a run on July 19. Now the two are not being shy about their budding romance and have been spotted showing off plenty of PDA. They definitely have our stamp of approval!
Nikki Reed & Ian Somerhalder Holding Hands
Ian and Nikki are one hot couple! While Ian may not have walked the carpet at the Young Hollywood Awards, he was clearly there showing support for his new leading lady in a very big way.
A source told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that they were, “holding hands backstage and whispering on the couch, they are 100% dating,” a source said. “Nikki stood up to chat with a friend and Ian stood up right behind her. Very “boyfriend” protective like.”
So sweet! Ian is definitely getting bonus points for being there for Nikki.
This is not the first time that the couple have been spotted not being able to keep their hands to themselves.
As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, the heart throb and gorgeous Twilight actress stepped out as a couple together at the Float Bar, inside the Hard Rock Hotel on July 26, after Ian signed plenty of autographs for his fans at Comic-Con. They even left the party together around midnight, after they showed off plenty of PDA!
Nina Embraces The Single Life
Our source told us that during the awards show, Ian came out to accept the best love triangle award and said that there were a couple of ”no shows,” possibly hinting at his missing ex, Nina Dobrev.
Nina has been busy embracing the single life, and flirting with some of Hollywood’s most eligible bachelors.As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, she was spotted kissing Baby Daddy heart throb,Derek Theler, 27. “The kiss from the Baby Daddy guy was in the moment out of nowhere liquor-enabled kiss,” the source said. “No tongue and no major passion.”
While at Comic-Con, Nina also flirted with Gotham actor, Ben McKenzie, 35, and just a few days earlier on July 25, she was spotted arm-in-arm with Orlando Bloom, 37 — you go girl!
We think it is great that Nikki and Ian are really taking their romance to the next level and not being shy about showing their true feelings for one another!
