Relatives, friends and celebrities ignited social media with reactions to the death of beloved actor Robin Williams, who died Monday at 63 years old.
Most recently, Williams' co-star Ben Affleck from "Good Will Hunting" opened up about his "friend."
"Heartbroken. Thanks chief -- for your friendship and for what you gave the world. Robin had a ton of love in him. He personally did so much for so many people. He made Matt and my dreams come true," he wrote on Facebook, referring to his "Good Will Hunting" co-star Matt Damon.
"What do you owe a guy who does that? Everything. May you find peace my friend. ?#?RobinWilliams," he continued.
Nathan Lane, Williams' "Bird Cage" co-star added similar sentiments about the late actor.
"I feel I have to say something more than just 'heartbreaking and shocking' which everyone has said and I feel as well, but something a little more personal. Thus the following: One day in 1995 while riffing in the character of a snobby French toy store owner, Robin made me laugh so hard and so long that I cried," he said via a statement. "It seemed to please him no end. Yesterday I cried again at the thought that he was gone."
He continued, "What I will always remember about Robin, perhaps even more than his comic genius, extraordinary talent, and astounding intellect, was his huge heart -- his tremendous kindness, generosity, and compassion as an acting partner, colleague, and fellow traveler in a difficult world. My heartfelt condolences to his wife and family."
Elsewhere on social media like Twitter, Williams' daughter, Zelda, posted a quote by Antoine de Saint-Exupery, the French writer and poet.
"You -- you alone will have the stars as no one else has them ... In one of the stars I shall be living. In one of them I shall be laughing. And so it will be as if all the stars were laughing, when you look at the sky at night ... You -- only you -- will have stars that can laugh," the quote reads.
She also wrote a statement following the quote: "I love you. I miss you. I'll try to keep looking up."
